Cassius slowly took her hand in his, his movements almost shaky, uncertain as he entered new territories, bth physical and emotional. He was surprised at just how real her hand was, and how solid she now looked. Her skin was unnaturally soft ang her hand was warm, seemingly inviting the imbrace of his own mortal flesh. It was unnatural for the great man, in more ways than one. Cassius's smile broadened somewhat, a little of the icy, distant man melting away under the glare of the long dead general's shining presence. "Let's go in, shall we?" Cassius suggested, swallowing hard.

Kiara closed her fingers lightly about his hand, looked down at the two appendages, now connected as one and smiled. His touch sent a shiver through her, she had not felt human contact in well over a thousand years, and as she looked back up at Cassius, her eyes seemed to be a bit misty, though she continued to smile. “Well, yes then, we should go in.” She replied almost automatically and then stepped forward and reaching out, she opened the way to the mess hall and they stepped through and into the crowded structure.
Kiara looked about at the tables, there were soldiers sitting about her or there at various tables and as the Generals, both past and present walked through the entrance, all seemed to quiet, the talk and laughter they had heard from the outside dimming in leaps and bounds, questioning eyes looking at the two, wondering perhaps who was at Cassius’s side, but of course, none making a motion to ask. Then again, maybe they recognized Kiara, though it would have been doubtful, as she was certain not a single one of them had ever seen anything more than a picture of her and in full armor at that, and the ghostly form of what was once her, but never the ‘real’ her, though still brilliantly outlined in a blue aurora, visible to any who cared to be observant.
“It would seem, we’ve made an ‘Entrance’.” Kiara said to Cassius, her voice a soft whisper that carried not too far, not allowing the soldiers to know she had uttered the words meant only for Cassius. “Shall we get you something to eat then?” She asked. “Or would you rather we take a walk else where, we can, if this is going to make you to uncomfortable.” She allowed him the out.
