It took Circu a few moments to finally realize Diala had placed her hand upon his shoulder. It took him by great surprise to find that he touch was not harsh or cold, but rather like that of any mortal woman, soft and warm. He looked down at his hands and closed his eyes mournfully, reflecting. He would have to tell his dear Kalista what he was and, if she saw wished for it, would resign from his position as her personal guard. Circu looked back up and found himself staring back into the white eyes of the female Unchained.
“I… I can remember that.” He answered quietly. Indeed he could, the feeling was very much unique, a sudden pull or attraction, like metal to a magnet. When he first saw Diala he had that feeling which, ultimately, led to him speaking to her, which led to his position now. There was another silence as he thought it all over, Diala kindly letting him do so without distraction. She had switched personalities so quickly, from deadly to understanding, from sadistic to gentle, it was a bit of a mystery to Circu to say the least. The man now stood very still, his eyes lowered from Diala’s and staring at the ground intently, he was at a crossroad and this was a time for him to make the most important of decisions.
“Diala?” He asked slowly. “Help me.” Circu looked back up to the female and sighed. He wasn’t sure if she would know what he meant, that he needed help, support in general, aid in all the new thoughts that flooded him, a guide. It was also a very large leap in trust as Circu had actually asked for assistance.
