"Twelve years, my undead lady, twelve years. It might seem like a blink of an eye to someone like you, but to me it seems like an eternity." He filed the glasses again and he drank his without a second thought. "Aaah, good stuff!"
He leaned back in his chair, emptied the ash from his pipe and started filling it again with fresh tobacco. "New friends you say, my undead lady, how can the wolf and the sheep be friends?" He took the same candle and lit the pipe again, after surrounding himself with smoke he continued in a calm voice and with a soft smile. "You may be able to control your urges for now, but come hunger and despair and you will drain a man down to the last sip of blood."

Sadia drank the alcohol down once more and then settled the glass on the table calmly and with what would seem the most delicate of ways. She ran an index finger around the lip of the glass and looked pensively over at her present company.
“I have but one question for you.” She started and then settled back in her chair; her dark brown orbs searching his face for some time before she sat back up again and smiled softly at him. “How many of your own kind have you killed in you short 30 something years?” She asked quietly.
She was just guessing at his age range and had settled that he looked to be at least 30 something. Had to be what with his tales and all.

Silvar puffed the smoke out of his mouth and replied calmly. "Ah, I know where you are going with this, he laughed slightly. I must admit I lost count, he said while looking at the ceiling. But don't get me wrong my undead lady, I am not judging you for what you are. I have met humans that are far more vile than the worst vampire." He paused as he lit the pipe again and made a few more smoke clouds. "It is just that I don't think I could ever trust you enough to let my guard down in your presence."

“Interesting.” She said and smiled gently. “So you are ok befriending those who would kill you if the coin was right even though they'd been beside you for a log time calling you friend, but when a vampire who has never killed a single soul in her 320 years comes into your life... you can't trust her. I see...” She then stated the entire time her voice remained perfectly soft and un-accusing even if her words were as such.
She reached otu and filled their glasses one more time from the bottle of strong stuff and then slammed the drink quickly. “Alright... seems to me you personalty have some trust issues.... meh... doesn't matter really at least you allowed the likes of me at your table... I'll drink to that.” She poured another and drank it down. “Oh how I miss getting drunk.” She laughed.

Silvar's hand jumped on the glass and he made a small effort to finish the drink at the same time Sadia finished it. He replied quickly after she had finished talking. "I never said that I befriended all my companions in the mercenary unit. There were two people I trusted enough to call friends, the rest were comrades. This is my only true friend, he said while taking the longsword halfway out of it's scabbard. Trust gets people killed, and I can't die, not yet anyway, I still have work to do." He finished the sentence with a terrifying look on his face, but it quickly disappeared. "Now then, he said while filling the glasses yes again, getting drunk, best plan I've heard all day." He laughed and poured the drink down his throat.

She was satisfied that her assumption of his trust issues was completely correct. So, instead of allowing her female emotions to drive her into becoming all upset over the situation she smiled. She took up another drink with him and winked.
“Like I said... to new friends.”
She drank the alcohol down once more and then laughed. She laughed really hard this time and then after a couple moments she shook her head and decided to allow him the reason behind that laugh.
“You know... when I initially stated the phrase 'to new friends'...I was talking about this drink and not us to begin with.” She finally admitted. “I'm glad we had that conversation though.. it was good.” She laughed again and motioned to the barkeep to bring another bottle.
“It's going to take me a few of these to even start feeling it.” She laughed again.
It was the truth. She had indeed meant the drink in the first place but she got another entire insight to this man across the table for her instead; to her, that was a win.

The man was slightly confused by her laughter, until she made the confession about calling the drink 'friend'. Point at which Silvar started laughing hysterically, holding his belly as he did so.
"Ah yes! Good talk, he said while taking yet another drink. You know how to hold your liquor my undead lady. I have to admit, I am getting slightly tipsy, but I guess 300 years of experience does give you a certain immunity."
Silvar was indeed surprised. The plum schnapps was three times as strong as any wine. But he couldn't back out, of course he wouldn't. He took the new bottle, filled the glasses yet again and raised his own. "To very special friends."
After finishing it he asked while smiling. "So how do you feed then, do you take down animals?"

Sadia gave him a small delightful smile. “Indeed my 320 years of drinking does hamper the effects of the alcohol slightly but it is my incredible healing ability that hampers it even further. I'm not saying I can't get drunk but it just takes some constant drinking of some powerful stuff to do the trick.” She winked at him and then slammed down another shot just before filling her cup once more and doing the same.
She was beginning to have a bit of fun now that they'd shed the misunderstanding of friendship. She respected his reasoning though she couldn't share his belief, she did respect it all the same.
“As far as feeding goes...” She filled up again and smiled. “Indeed one can sustain oneself on animal blood though it isn't really a good idea for prolonged use as it can have some pretty adverse effects.” She started and then downed that glass too. “I am sustained by taking blood intravenously that I buy for local hospitals or sometimes from the blood banks themselves.” She told him in all honesty. “I like to buy from local hospitals though because it puts money in their pockets to help with keeping humans healthier.” She shrugged as she filled once more.

Silvar was slightly confused and surprised at the same time. Never in his life did he even conceive the idea that a vampire would go through so much trouble in order to not cause harm to humans. "Admirable! he said almost to himself."
He wandered into his own thoughts for a moment, then a long smile appeared on his face. "My undead lady, he started with an insidious voice, since you have this clear age advantage over me, we should even the odds." He turned towards the bar. "Barkeep, bring three more bottles and a an empty pint of beer."
Delighted for the good profits he was making, the barkeep brought the required items with a smile on his face.
"Now then my undead lady, Silvar continued, for each glass of schnapps I drink, you drink a pint. That will surely make things interesting, don't you think?"
He filled the pint and one small glass. He raised the glass, bowed his head and drank it quickly. The strong drink was starting to really get to him.

Sadia listened and watched as the barkeep brought over the new drinking effects and she smiled as he suggested a better drinking style for the two of them. She laughed slightly as he poured the two glasses; or the pint and the small shot.
“Bottoms up then...” She stated just before she downed the pint and then grabbed up the bottle and poured for them again.
“I think I might be feeling something..” She smiled just before she excitedly poured the next one down her throat.
She grimaced as she had the first time she took a drink of the schnapps. “Yes.. I do think this is going to work.” She shook her head and laughed.
