The shimmering light of the full moon blessed the surface of the ground, lightning up the roadways for all to see better than most nights. With not a cloud in the sky things seemed to be going well in Karador as has been the usual for the last hundred years.
The random dogs could be heard barking now and then as men stumbled home from the bar after it had closed, waking a few people up, one woman yelled out her window for the dogs to shut up. Little could it be known that the dogs would be the least of their concern for 'noise' that night.
In a loud yet harmonious voice Mikïa sung, "My Bonnie lies over the ocean, my Bonnie lies over the sea, My Bonnie lies over the ocean, O bring back my Bonnie to me." The chorus came up and she bellowed even louder, "Bring back, bring back, O bring back my Bonnie to me, to me!!"

With the moon shining brightly above in the night sky and having been well fed on fat ladies and their little fan boys, Moloch's steps were light with dance as he sauntered down the cobbled streets taking a skip and then a small twirl from time to time as he whistled a tune.
He did not know where the tune came from, but it reminded him of a song he'd known at some point in his life, or was it another life? Perhaps it was simply a song he'd kept in his mind from a blood memory of one of his victims, he didn't know.
Moloch turned a corner and with a flourish twirl, his jacket tails swishing out trailing his movement, his feet then came to a haul, followed in short by the tails that had preceded him in the first place. His feet stopped because he saw something ahead of him, his keen eyes following its movements, his ears hearing the tune that came forth from its lips, her lips? It was the very same he'd been whistling now for the last mile he'd walked.
He cocked his head to the side, his eyes showing, not confusion, curiosity.
“Excuse me.” His voice trailed out to the one ahead of him after he had stared for a few moments. “But what are you?” he boldly asked with no concern at being branded as rude.
It wasn't because he cared as to rather he was rude or not, no, it was because he truly wanted to know what it was he faced up ahead of him and his general rule was always that if it didn't smell human, chances were it wasn't. Aside from the fact that the skin was blue, blue, his mind raced to keep ahead of himself on that one, was it supposed to be blue or was it a practical joke some other manner of creature, perhaps a fairy, had played on the poor thing ahead of him.

The chorus of the very merry and lively song was interrupted when someone spoke to her, not yelling out a window but from the street itself not all too far from where she was. "Excuse me." Came the curious voice. "But what are you?"
There did not exist fewer words that could entail something so small yet so big at the same time. Those few words had been asked to her so many times over the last few millennial and yet she still did not have a better answer than she had replied to all those other people.
Turning around to face the man that spoke onto her, she mirrored his stance as she gazed upon his expression and noted his features. Features that to most just looked like any human around but she knew better having met them so many times. Vampire. That however said very little about the one she had before her compared to his tone of voice and expression on his face. More would be learned though by talking him up.
"I used to be one of your kind." She replied simply before smirking and waving her hand and it's clawed nails in front of her in a I present myself manner. "Obviously I'm not anymore. What I am now though is a mystery."

A small slithering wisp of wind blew around his feet, moved upwards to dance with the tails of his jacket before whisking off to go bother something else. It was not a cold wind but instead it was a cool wind, he barely noticed it. What he did notice however was the fact that the it, was indeed a she as he had suspected from the get go. He sighed lightly and then took a deep breath as she began to talk to him. She moved like a female, she looked like a female and so, like the human rule, chances were that she is female, though he had to admit that he'd run into some odd humans that seemed to meet all the criteria and ended up being male. Then again, she wasn't human so chances were that she really was a female.
“A Mystery though you used to be a vampire.” He stated instead of asked. “What is a Mystery, well aside from a mystery. If you are a mystery though then perhaps is it that you possibly couldn't know what you are? Or do you truly know but not want others to know for reasons of your own and so therefore create a mystery to be solved by those who you talk to.” He stated and asked all in one breath and then continued shortly. “In fact if you are a Mystery then we must decide if we can make heads or tails of the mystery, well at some point as I don't think I have the time to keep thinking about things such a mysteries and the like as there is but a couple hours of night left in the sky and I really should be getting back to where it is I sleep each day." He finished with a kind of smile that wasn't really a smile.

The blue skinned girl listened intently on all that came forth from this ones mouth. She could tell that he did a lot of thinking whether on purpose or not. Though, none of the questions he brought up were new to her. None of them shed another point of view on her situation as reality had it that she should not exist at all.
Looking up at the sky to see the distance that the moon had crossed this night Mikïa nodded her head in agreement that the night was nearing it's end, and knowing full well how bad the sun was for them, she did not want to be the cause of his demise in such a simpleton manner. Though, she could also not let him walk away without seeing how fast his mind could really work.
"Mind if I walk you home then while you mull over something that should not be?" Without even waiting for a reply to that she half turned to wait for him to catch up seeing as that was the direction he was headed in and posed the situation in front of him, "I was bit by a lycan a couple millennial ago."
Nothing more needed to be said to this vampire to make the thoughts rush forth. She knew that they all knew the outcome of a lycan bite. There was no escaping it for any of them. No exceptions. So then why her? Why is she alive?

Walk home with him. Now wouldn't that be a long walk. He did after all actually live in the capital city and a couple hours worth of walk would never get them there in time, no that would not be good at all. Moloch chuckled slightly as he moved forward to continue his walk towards his chosen sleeping quarters for his stay here in Meerin.
“Of course you can walk with me, after all..” He grinned. “Who would I be to not allow anyone to use the space as they choose in this city.” He turned then winked at her and then after adding another charming smirk he added, “Or their right to converse as well.”
They walked on for but a few minutes longer before he made any reaction to her comment of being bitten by a dirty Lycan.
“Ouch.” He stated, squishing his forehead in a sincere manner of pain. “Well now that IS a question and as you are walking next to me now and talking, that must mean that the inevitable did not happen.” he declared unnecessarily. “You should have become a splattered bunch of gooey parts on the ground not long after that.” Once again stating the obvious but moved on. “
It was a nice night and as stated before, he had eaten quite well that evening and so was quite enjoying every minute of it. The fact that the present company he kept was something of a mystery, as she had told him, had a lot to do with that enjoyment.
“So, I surmise that there must have been a reason for your good fortune then.” He finally commented. “I would not question it, as I am certain it more than likely had something to do with the will of the one known as Chaos who created us vampires in the first place.” He continued.
Moloch might have been a bit eccentric and have a mind full of personalities that he had little control over more often than not but, he was knowing and he was no young vampire with ideals of a world without Gods.
Suddenly he laughed out loud; a hardy laugh that echoed down the streets.
“You're a Vampy!” He exclaimed and then without warning moved to pat her on the top of the head.
“Get it!” He laughed again. “ A vampire Puppy!” he laughed some more as he continued to walk along.
