The city thus far hasn't proven to be as hectic or alive as the capitol around the Keep. That was just fine though because Moloch was here and he'd be certain that things livened up a little even if he had to make a show of vampire nature to the general public. Oh how he hated hiding sometimes.
Tonight though, tonight he would behave himself, or at least that was what he kept telling them, the voices.
“Well, which way would you like to start?” He asked Brix as they started out the door to the tavern.
It didn't make a difference to him, he didn't know where he was going any more than she would and to that thought he kind of inwardly laughed at his asking her.

Stepping outside, Abriex took a deep breath of fresh air. She turned toward Moloch who had held the door open for her and she faked a curtsy to him. "Thank you! Thank you!" She smiled and walked down the sidewalk while Moloch matched her stride. “Well, which way would you like to start?” Moloch asked her. She shrugged and pointed in front of her. She didnt exactly know what she was doing or where she was going but she was sure that a walk was a walk and it didnt quite matter to her.
Tonight she felt excitable. Like she could get into some trouble, or just be mischievious. It may have seemed as if someone or something answered her thoughts. Only a full block down from the tavern Abriex felt as if she was being watched. She could sense that Moloch probably felt it too.
Green orbs darted at Moloch then at a grouping of trees near the town square. She saw the glint of a knife shining in the silver moonlight. Abriex took that as a challenge and a threat. She looked once more at Moloch and waved her hand at him, beckoning him to follow then she walked right at the thugs.
She jolted at the men who had already started to advance on them. Her body quivered momentarily as she could feel a slight change happening. She held it back. She could handle these thugs without changing, but to much excitement always threatened to change her.
Abriex grabbed the mans arm who was holding a knife toward her and she snapped his arm with a quick snap. Her leg rose as she kicked him away from her and he flew quite noticabley into the wall. The last two men grabbed at Abriex, One took hold of her unruly red hair and another took one of her arms. She reached up and wrapped her hand around the mans wrist who held onto her hair and slowly began to crush it within her steel grasp.

As they walked he saw them, three thugs up ahead waiting for trouble and by the looks of it they were going to get it. Brix was tense, she was ready to attack, this of course did nothing but further a smile across Moloch's pale lips. When the attack began, Moloch however, instead of helping in the slightest way, took position with his back lounging against a tree; one leg bent so that his foot was also against the tree.
“Wow, heard that crunch from over here.” He exclaimed as her fingers wrapped around the second mans wrist. “Oh... look out, that one still wants to play...” He commented about the third. All the while he laughed and laughed. “If you need any help, just let me know, but just so you know, the next group if we find one will be mine tonight... ok.” He shot out at her with a heavy laugh behind his words.
Meanwhile the first one was beginning to stir at his resting place against the wall. Moloch turned his pale gaze on the man and wagged his index finger at him from side to side. The other man stopped as the fingers of his good hand froze hovering over the throwing knives at his belt. He didn't move his hand away from them, but they froze there for the moment.
Moloch kicked himself away from the tree and turned fully to the man in one motion.
“I don't think you quite understand, friend.” He stated in a now low and much more dangerous tone.
The man against the wall slid himself upwards against it until he was standing full height, his eyes never leaving Molosh's gaze. His hand twitched over the blades and just as fast he had let once loose a knife that set a course at Moloch who grinned a most dreadful grin.
Moloch now stood with the mans quivering body in one hand and a throwing knife in the other. There didn’t' seem to be any 'in between the fact', he was just there, man and knife in hand. The knife in Moloch's fingers was allowed to slip to the ground as he opened his fingers to let it loose and then he brought it up to pat the other man on the cheek.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk...” He sounded from his lips. His pale gaze grew vibrant as his hazel orbs began to grow in iridescence. The smile that raked over his expression was anything but friendly as the hand holding the man in the air twitch just slightly and an audible crack sounded in the night as the body of the first thug suddenly went limp. Moloch hesitated and growled at the man before allowing the body to slump to the ground. He then turned around to see what he'd missed in the struggle behind him, hoping not to have missed too much. He strode back to the tree and settled back against it, his tone returning almost immediately back to jovial as he waited.
