He had started to say something but then stopped, what was it she wondered though didn’t ask. When eh replied to her whispered desire to be with him, just simply be here with him, quietly floating in the middle of nowhere, her lips turned up at the corners into a soft smile, though he wouldn’t have noticed for he had closed his eyes at that time.
She turned her head and looked at him floating next to her and the smile remained on her lips, her eyes shining brightly in the sun as it shown down upon them, making them sparkle with life as she thought of the possibilities in his begun statement, not able to get it out of her mind. As she thought about it, twisted what it could have been into something she wanted to hear pictures of Faust flashed through her mind, of the time he first showed up in the hospital, his hands as they touched her forehead after her ‘attack’ then smells and sounds of his voice started to drown out things as well. IT was a very long time before she realized she was staring at him and finally was able to tear her gaze away from the doctor and return her vision back to the sky, though the thoughts of him still managed to intrude into her mind.

There was a long pause after and Faust was content with just floating in that silence. After a few minutes, however he felt someone was looking at him. Faust turned his head to look at Cella just as she was turning away, he wasn't sure if she saw him see her or if it had escaped her view. He took a moment and began to wonder...
He too also thought back to the first day they had met. He remembered how she was the only one there, working tirelessly on paperwork, he remembered her attack and how he gave aid where he could. He almost felt as if he was there, a few weeks back, in that hospital room, tending to her.
"Cella?" He asked, seeming out of the blue. "What are your thoughts on relationships within the work place?" The doctor looked back up at the sky and was fairly quiet. He heard the lapping of waves along his body, even the song of a far off bird, though he never paid attention to either, but waited for Cella to answer.

Cella floated quietly looking up at the sky, she had not noticed he saw her gazing at him and so was content in simply floating there, relaxing and allowing the sun to warm her body on the surface of the lake. Her eyes had shut now as they remained floating calmly and quietly that is until he asked his question…
Cella’s eyes opened, and she turned her head to look at him, a quizzical look about her lavender gaze. She didn’t’ want to jump to conclusions but all the same, she felt her heart race and knew her curious expression would give way to the hidden emotions she wasn’t allowing to show.
“I think that relationships in the work place are fine, so long as they don’t interfere with the work itself.” She answered him honestly.

“I think that relationships in the work place are fine, so long as they don’t interfere with the work itself.”
Faust felt rather nervous. He looked at Cella who was, in turn, looking at him. The expression on her face told him that she was interested, at least in what he was saying. However, in the pit of his stomach he felt that he should go on, felt that she would answer...
"Cella..." He began. He smiled and finished the sentance, the one he tried to get out before, yet failed. "I have feelings for you... would you want to go out sometime?" And then he waited for her reply, to which would either undo or tighten the knot in his stomach.

Cella’s smile warmed all the more at his question. “You mean, out, out, as in a date out?” She asked, her eyes lighting up. “Hum, ya, I think I would like that a lot.” She finished, her own knot in her stomach loosening, the curios expression however growing all the more as now, a million things began to run through the girls mind.
Cella reached out again and brushed his cheek with her hand, all the while warmly smiling at him, this time, allowing her hand to linger there a moment longer than before, and when she brought it back to her side, she continued to look at him, finding it near impossible to look away just at this moment.
She like Faust had been drawn to him the moment she laid eyes on him. He was good-looking, well, hot would perhaps describe it best, a great friend and gentle soul. She enjoyed his company immensely and had, it seemed grown to feeling rather empty when he wasn’t about, on the few days when they saw little of one another, her mind was always filled with visions of Faust, thoughts of him. She couldn’t help it; she was drawn to him and didn’t think she’d be able to tear herself away, even if she had to. So, his question at this time made her extremely happy, more than she’d been able to put into words. He had, or did now, feel the same as she, or, at least close to, and that, was more than she could have ever wanted.

“You mean, out, out, as in a date out? Hum, ya, I think I would like that a lot.”
Faust's stomach loosened, the knot disappearing almost immediately. In it's place a wonderful, floating feeling had arrived. The young doctor smiled broadly at her response, his ears turinging pink. She reached out and placed her hand on his cheek, where he brought his own hand and put it over her's. He then let his hand sink back into the water and she did likewise.
Her response was, in Faust's opinion, too good to be true, and he was so happy. One could see it behind his soft, green eyes if they looked close enough. As usual though Faust decided to opt for his calm, warm smile as they looked at eachother.
Whenever Cella was around Faust always felt right with the world, he felt like nothing could really bother him, despite sometimes being buried under mountains of work. Faust knew Cella was special that first day they met, after she came from the back room when he had rung the bell, when the locked eyes briefly.
Now, in the present, Faust decided to ask another queston. "So would you like to go dancing? Maybe this Friday? I know you get off work early that day..." He smiled, knowing the emplyee scheduals had some advantages.

Cella watched him with her lavender eyes and smiled a bit more when he asked her to dance. She loved to dance, finding it most fun. “That sounds perfect.” She replied to his suggestion.
Cella then kicked her feet slowly and then allowed her body to right itself so that she was treading water once more. “Shall we head back to the shore now?” She asked as she continued to let her eyes stay connected to Faust, his emerald gaze was so soft, so… perfect.
She often found herself watching him when they worked closely together at the hospital, it was as though she simply couldn’t help herself, he was there, right there with her so close, every day and though she’d always wanted to touch him, she never did until today. She hadn’t known what allowed her to reach out and caress his cheek that first time, but now, she was quite glad she had.
