Sighing, eleisia paused yet again. She seemed to be making so little progress! Her stomach growled in protest; after feeding the animals, she had taken no time to feed herself this morning. She outstretched one hand, lazily extending her palm flat above the earth, and exhaled slowly. << Beee stiiiiiill >> she intoned.
The earth ceased its tremor; the enraged girl-child's disembodied anger seemed to tremble through space. Recognizing that that energy would need to go somewhere lest the uncontrolled youngling cause more damage than she ought, eleisia turned her hand back as a paddle, her palm open to receive. Inhaling, she formed a vaccuum of her palm, forcibly absorbed the spiky, smoky energy of the child's fresh frustration.
Turning back, she looked down at the girl, eyes bright with new power. "Why do you challenge me? You do not know with what you toy. I suggest you learn something of your Power, before it consumes you, little one."

"And what would you know of power?! You aren't even capable of attacking me, are you?" Makura looked straight at Eleisia, "What gives you any authority to tell me about my power?"

eleisia considered what and how much to tell. Her nature was overly gentle, at least in her own opinion, and her curiosity unnecessarily overgrown.
"I read a lot."
eleisia raised her hand in the om gesture, holding it level with her solar plexus, and inhaled, releasing the violent child.
"Do what you will. It matters not if you choose to be ignorant."
eleisia did not walk away. It only seemed to anger the girl. Instead, she stood still, waiting for her trust to be her own undoing-- or earn her a new friend.

Makura looked at the woman. Obviously she specialized at defensive spells, quite the opposite of Makura, which would make it difficult to attack her effectively. It might do good to learn a little something. "Fine. If I'm so ignorant, then enlighten me, oh wise one." She replied sarcastically.

eleisia raised one elegant eyebrow, making no secret of her sacasm.
"I'm sure that will be a delight for all and sundry. Meet me at the library at sunset. And bring coffee."
eleisia's heart pounded. It ought to have been the interaction that caused her heart to pound. The beginning of a new relationship, the opportunity to teach... But no. It was the desire to learn; the need to acquire knowledge... she could feel the blood racing through her brain, and quelled the hitching breath of anticipation as she turned and left.
