Adorned in a classy garb and a sash through her hair, Rosalie walked through the cobbled paths of Karador. She admired the bountiful baskets of flowers that hung from the street lights as blured visions of people came out from buildings and around corners while seemingly laughing or talking or simply going about their buisiness. A few seconds later their solid form would come about repeating the same actions.
Though the visions would make a human rather uneassy and dizzy, this child was used to it, it was natural for her. Even though she looked like everyone else around her, she was very different, advanced. Even with that, she had a great respect for them as she knew that her species, her race, originated from them.
One blurred figure ran around a corner and headed right for her, stepping aside to avoid the potential colision, she continued her walk to the entrance hall. Someone there had to have answers for her. After all, they were supposed to know what happens within and around the city.
Climbing the large stone steps that lead to the entrance of the Keep, she nodded her head in respect to the guards that were posted there. After taking a few steps forward from the stairs, she stood in the doorway looking in. A beautiful red carpet lined a path from one end of the hall to the other while great windows on either side of the building lit up the room. Obscure forms followed by their owners scurried about the room and undertook idle conversations while others seemed to be wondering what to do now.
She had never been to the Keep before so did not know where to go or who to talk to. Nervously, she aproached a man that wore a uniform and stood in the doorway as his blurred form demonstrated that he was about to do the same. “Hello. I am looking for someone that will be able to give me some aid.” She hesitated a little before going on, “Some answers. My familly recently suffered a great loss so I would like to know what's going on. Can you direct me?”
“Why of course young miss.” The man replied gently yet professionally. “If you wait right over there.” He continued as he made a hand gesture demonstrating the direction to take. “Someone will be around shortly. They always are.”
“Thank-you sir.” She replied as she nodded her head to him in respect and strolled off to wait where he said to. Hoping it would not be too long before someone would come as he suggested. Hoping she would soon find out what exactly is going on, why her father had to die and her mother left for dead.
