Kalista had been quite the troublemaker when she was little, she and Kiara often times practically gave their father and mother heart attacks daily, not to mention their ‘uncle’ who was the one that watched them more often than anyone else. It was their ‘uncle’ that cared for them and taught them the use of Sorcery, he spent many years tutoring the two girls in different directions, soon however, it was Kiara who left his teachings to go on to the Keep where she’d learned the art of the soldier and Kalista, left with the Sorcerer to continue her studies in that line. Separated from her sister for such long periods of the day and when she wasn’t in study, Kalista always found herself in some sort of trouble or another; she simply had too much time on her hands back then. That was about the time her father decided she’d take up both lines of study and so, her life became too crowded after she had turned 15, to cause much more ‘trouble’ in the castle.
As they made it through this hallway, Kalista held her hand out in front of herself, palm up and a small fire orb appeared, this was about three inches in diameter and in such a perfect form, one would know it was something she produced quite often. She began to absently begin to move the orb about her fingers, nimbly making the tiny thing move between her fingers, around them and back again, her eyes still looking forward, paying no attention to the ball at all.
“Me... A troublemaker indeed.” Kalista returned with that some mischievous grin on her lips as before. “Well, it looks as though we’ve about come to the end of our journey Raven.” She started as they approached a large set of Iron clad Oak doors. “I do hope to see you again, perhaps around the town, or even in my garden, and yes, you are most welcome to visit, if you so desire.” She finished and she stopped, just as the doors began to open up in front of them to let in a flood of cool air just as the lightning flashed overhead again and a loud clap of thunder signified that the storm had only just begun.
There was a short pause and then she grinned over at the vampire. “Unless of course, there is anything you would wish to ask me before we part, anything you might need.” She told him, the orb still moving about her fingers, though faster now, making it seem an Orange and red blur around her hand.
