Sukebe stood outside of the church, reminiscing.
"It's been... so long..."
Sukebe recalled various events from it's past. How badly it had been treated. The one who had returned it's love. And the face of the priest who had killed her.
Sukebe dropped on it's knees, holding it's head in it's hands. "Why? She didn't deserve to die... She shouldn't have... Why did she have to..."

A darkly clad figure walked along the cobbled street that lead to the Church, it’s black wool cloak flapping out behind her in the wind that blew through Karador this dark night, its ice fingers grasping at anything not glued down and tossing it recklessly about in the air. A wet and half destroyed piece of parchment blew about and around the ankles of this darkly clad female, the writing obscured by its wet surface as well with what smelled, and looked to be dried blood, perhaps carried in the wind across the streets from a post or wall, ripped away by a battle between the soldiers of Karador and those horrid walking dead of the local Necromancers doing, or for some other reason Adara didn’t want to think on concerning its bloodied state.
She looked then up at the church, her eyes flowing over the beauty of its design until her keen eyes fell on a figure that seemed to be kneeling, perhaps crying before the doors of the holy place.
It took the Lycan no more than a few dozen quick steps to now halt behind the bent figure, her eyes looking down upon it a curious expression written on the girls face. “Are you ok?” She asked in the softest and most sincere of voices, now kneeling beside the one bent in what seemed to be great distraught over something.

Sukebe looked up at the girl. "Y-yes, I'm fine..." it said, obviously still partially upset. Sukebe stood up. "It's just," Sukebe thought for a moment, "I don't have the greatest memories from places like this." It said, looking back toward the church for a moment.
Sukebe turned back toward the girl. "I forgot to introduce myself, my name is L..." It stopped short, "You can call me... Sukebe. So what's your name?"

As the person stood, so did Adara and she inclined her head to the others greeting. “Hello Sukebe, you may call me Adara, because, well, because it simply is my name.” She stated, holding her hand out to the other in a gesture of greeting.
Another bloodied piece of parchment blew up against the Lycans ankle and this time, she bent and snatched it up from the ground and stuffed the dirty piece in her left pocket, meaning to throw it in the trash alter. She honestly hated the streets of her home to be in such a state.
“I honestly have no use for places such as these, though I always find their artistic structure of the most beautiful architectural designs ever.” Adara commented, her eyes now peering upwards toward the Church again before rounding down to once again settle on the masked face of the newly acquainted person before her, as she as well, waited for said human to take her offered greeting.

Sukebe politely shook hands with Adara, "It's nice to meet you Adara. And I must agree that they are quite beautiful. I used to... spend quite a bit of time in one." said Sukebe, very careful with it's choice of words, "Not this one, but one much farther away."

Adara looked the creature before her over with a curiosity known only in a wolf. Her head tilted slightly to the side and she raised a brow. The piece of parchment gone forgotten for now in the light of what the human had said.
“Indeed, I would inquire as to the why, but as I also feel it is none of my business, I shouldn’t pry.” She said, the wolfish tendencies of being forward showing brightly in her person. Though the human before her would not know why her curiosity was so high. ”At any rate, it is nice to meet you as well Sukebe.” She then stated, moving right along, her head righting itself. “So, what brings you out on a night like this, you do know that the curfew is in effect and in a few hours, patrols will be about, sauntering us both off the streets, don’t you?” She finished, a friendly smile on her lips.

"I walk during the night so that I can think. During the day there are too many people, and its awfully noisy. And as for the curfew," Sukebe smiled, "it's only a problem if you get caught."
Sukebe looked back to the church, and slowly moved toward it. "It was quite some time ago. In fact, I don't really recall any memories before then." Sukebe said, not really speaking to Adara, but simply remembering, "It wasn't really by choice, but at the same time, I did stay on my own free will. A lot happened there that I'd rather forget, I almost wish I wasn't found that day... But then, I would never have met her. She cared for me, she even loved me. I can remember the last time we were happy..." Suddenly, Sukebe spun toward Adara. Grinning behind it's mask, it asked, "Do you like chocolate cake?"

Adara stood idly, her eyes watching the creature move, her lips now letting go of the smile as the desperate words, the sad story was unfolded in arts before her eyes and ears and then, Sukebe turned and with a near child-like manner asked her out of the blue, if she liked chocolate cake.
Adara smiled again, once more, that warming smile she had towards most all creatures good. “Well, of course I do, what creature wouldn’t?” She returned and laughed. “Why, you know where we can get some at this hour?” She then inquired, that warm smile still present on her features.

"Actually, I was almost hoping you would know one..." Sukebe laughed, "Oh well, maybe tomorrow when there's somewhere to get it."
"So what brings you out here? I don't usually run into many people at night. At least not ones that are too friendly."
