Nekoni scampered through the streets, avoiding the feet of the many people walking in the town square. Where had his pet gone? Useless that thing was. It gave him more trouble than it was worth. Though at this point, Nekoni was about ready to give anything to ride on it's shoulder, safe from the feet that were currently stomping all around him. Then Nekoni made the mistake of stopping to rest for a moment. Without warning, a foot came down on his tail, causing him to let out a loud squeal.

The light shown brightly in the sky above as hundreds of feet scurried through the town square, their owners apparently in a hurry to get where to their destinations.
Despite their apparent haste, they cast Mikïa an awkward glance. She knew it was because they had never seen any like her before and she always found their expresions interesting. So, in reply to their expresions, she had herself some fun at making some faces of her own towards them.
Not five feet from her came a squeal that took her gaze from the crowd and sent it toward the ground where she saw a furry grey creature. Though she could not presently see what happened to it so as to make it yell out as such, she could make a guess that one of the feet about the square encountered it.
Usually she would ignore them but this one had a strange ora about it. It was different than most. She took two steps forward and squatted in front of the cat. Being large enough for people to see, as well as not being 'normal', they all walked around her, leaving room to breath. cocking her head to the one side, she extended her hand to the cat as an invitation for it to climb up.
"You can rest on my shoulder for now, it would be safer for you." She stated simply, waiting there a few moments for it to decide if it wanted to or not.

Soon after the foot had stepped on him, Nekoni saw another pair of feet headed right for him. He got ready to avoid them, when they stopped, and the owner squatted down just in front of him. Nekoni watched cautiously as she had extended her hand toward him. He noticed the claws and looked curiously at this person, deciding if they were trustworthy.
Answering that question, he took the offer. As he climbed up on her shoulder, he was careful not to scratch her. She had somewhat reminded Nekoni of his pet. Though, the blue skin and silver hair was kind of an obvious difference between them. Either way, Nekoni preferred to have some company to travel with, and the way the person had offered, it seemed that she wouldn't mind some company as well.

But a few moments had passed when the cat took up her offer by gently climbing onto her right shoulder. Leaving her crouching positon, she got up and looked about.
"Where were you headed? Maybee I can get you there faster and in one peice, if you so desire." She said to it as she gave it a slight glance.

Nekoni looked about. He was unsure where to look, his only thought before was to get somewhere safe. But now that he was safe from the huge crowd, he didn't know where to begin.
His pet possessed an aura that was different from the average human, something that only an animal, and perhaps a highly sensitive human could sense. So Nekoni closed his eyes and tried to feel some sign of it.
He could feel Mikia's aura, it was rather unique, something that was both familiar and foreign at the same time. Nekoni attempted to divert his attention from it, and soon felt a very faint trace of a semi-divine aura that would most likely belong to his pet.
Using his nose, he pointed in the direction that it appeared to come from, hoping that his feeling was correct.

A few moments passed in which the cat seemed to be in deep reflection. Or at least, that's what the position it put itself in on her shoulder and it's facial expresions made her think.
As she stood there with the new ornament on her shoulder, the people around them started to look at her slightly differently than before. Though the fear of strange things was still worn on their faces, it apeared to be mixed with a slight wonderment.
Wondering as to their thoughts, she ventured into them. "Huh...... I would of never imagined a creature of the sort. Never mind one that looked like it could tear right through you take interest in a feline. Wait till I tell my ...." She shook her head in dismay. Human thoughts were most often boring and she should of known better than to hope for otherwise.
Just as she left the woman's mind, the cat made a motion with it's head towards a certain direction and so, she took it. "Alright. Just let me know when you'd like me to change course." She walked at a steady pace through the crowd while she watched the cat from the corner of her eyes for further directions.
