Kiara returned his honest look. Yes, he was considered to her a friend, perhaps the only one she had, save for her sister, but then, her sister had no idea of any of her thoughts, Kiara always kept these things to herself, except of course, when Ash drug them out of her, as he usually did. Now his second question left her to have to think over how she felt, as her feelings were not what she was too used to thinking about, having always tried to hide them from the entire world.
Kiara clasped her hands behind her back as she thought, and she looked about the graveyard, her eyes falling on the two Gargoyles still resting at the gate, it looked as though perhaps they might have fallen to sleep, she smiled slightly, truly, she had to dislike for the creatures, they were just huge oafs, like and huge pet, too playful for their own good. Her eyes then moved fro them to Ash again and she pursed her lisp together and blinked a couple times. “I would think I feel, relieved that I told someone…” She said, though really not certain if that was the correct thing to say, or rather the correct way to address her feelings on the situation. “Do you think I am insane for allowing myself to have these feeling toward a living soul?” She asked him then, her tone quiet once more, calm and reserved, as if she had closed her feelings off again.

Ash took note of her glance towards his pets and realised how board they must be with just sitting there while their day was passing by. He'd have to fix that.
When she got to answering him he just smilled and gave out a sort of laugh at her question. Not making fun of her in way but finding her question to be funny. "If you could actually control feelings, don't you think there would be a lot less broken hearts in the world?"
He looked around, knowing full well they had the graveyard to themselves now, extended his hand as if to show her a path and noded his head in the same direction. "Would you care for a float through my graveyard while we converse? It may help you collect your thoughts." He smilled gently. "And would have the added bonus of giving my friends there some excercise." Trying to allieviate her stress a little.

Kiara gave him a soft smile and nodded her head in answer. “Yes, I think I would like that and you are correct, the poor things do need to get up and stretch their legs, run about a bit.” She replied, turning around to face down the direction he had suggested.
After they had began to walk, Kiara looked about the dismal place, to her, a graveyard was not exactly the most attractive of places and yet, this one seemed to not be too bad, or maybe she was bias in her opinion, as it was indeed Ash who tended it, and Ash was indeed, her friend.
“I don’t know Ash, he doesn’t even have a clue as to what I think, and nor do I think he should.” She told him. “Thus, I am not certain that this knowledge being brought forth to anyone’s ears was really such a good idea, promise me you will try and keep it to yourself.” S he finished, turning her eyes to look seriously at him now

After Kiara agreed to take a stroll through the graveyard, Ashard made a sign for the rather bored beasts to come along. They gladly jumped up and followed suit as the two ghosts took off.
As she began to speak again Ash grew an inquisitive look but remained silent till she finished. "It is not mine to tell my dear." He replied, shaking his head solemly. "And may I ask why it is exactly that you don't think he should know? I mean, is he not old enough to decide if he wants something or not?" Ashard smirked a little with his last question.

Kiara looked over at Ash and rolled her eyes slightly. “He is also old enough to decide as to rather he would prefer to recognize what it is that others might feel towards him. He is a warrior through and through, a man with intent and a job to do, what time does he have for such frivolous things as love.” She stated, not a question but a statement of what she considered fact. She knew how it was, she had once been General to the great armies of Karador, and she had always been far to busy to find any form of love, to see it in any face around her, all she had time for was to train her men and fight for what was needed. It wasn’t until she had died, she’d found time to search her heart for what she wanted, and by then, it was far too late, so far as she was concerned, though still, the feeling had crept up and bitten her on the ass.. The moment her ghostly eyes had found Cassius, it was over for her, so to speak.
“No, he has other things to worry about and definitely doesn’t need the thoughts of someone’s love for him to cloud his judgment when it comes to the curtail moment in a battle.” She finished and then turned her attention once again to the surrounding area of the path they traversed.

Ash cocked his head to the side as he looked her way, "I see that your thoughts are clouded. Probably cause your right in it." He paused a short moment and smiled at her. "A soldier wories about his mate when harm can come to her. You are already dead my dear. So he'd not have that worry." Winking at her he continued, "Sides that, You told me earlier that he needs well wishes, things to help him through hard times." He stoped moving and fixed her directly in her eyes. "What can posibly give more strength and determination to someone than love?" He smiled. "There was once an expresion that said 'Love can give you wings'. Well, it does a lot more than that and you know it. So in a way, if you were to give him the choice, not only could you posibly have a love in your life but it could give him added strength and energy for the times ahead." Narowing his eyes on her he finished, "Don't tell me I'm wrong. I know I'm not."

Kiara sighed again as they continued down their course. “Yes, but.. Well, how could he possibly be happy with a ghost? I mean honestly, I can’t expect him to return that which I feel in any way.” She replied. “So why even let him know the truth?” She questioned, now moving her hands from their clasped position behind her back to hang down at her sides for a moment before crossing them in front of her, as if hugging herself as they glided along.
“I am not saying you are wrong, all I am saying, is why bother when it isn’t possible… it is just the feelings of a creature that has no right to allow her feelings for the living to be known.” She finished, her eyes moving away from his gaze. “It wouldn’t be fair to him.” She finished at last, finally getting to the point.

"Fair?" He questioned with a puzzled look about him. "Are you saying that to be with someone you have to be physical? The physical side basically allows for touching which is nice but not necesary in a relationship. He would have someone by his side. Someone to be of aid to him, mentally and emotionaly. He could have someone to lean on for suport whenever he needs it, cause as I stated before, you are not flesh and therefore can not be harmed. You can bring him aid on the field without giving him added worry. That's something no other woman could give him." Ashard paused a moment before going on. "Everyone needs someone close to them who can understand them, with whom they can freely speak their feelings. So, you need someone that you don't always have to start a fight with before you can let your feelings out." He stated jokingly with a smile and a wink. "And him.... you know what it was like to be a general, to have worries and thoughts that u have to keep to yourself for fear of bringing down moral or whatever other reason. You could provide him with a let out for all he feels he has to keep within himself."

Kiara growled. She knew he was right and no matter what argument she gave him he would come up with a good counter argument, this was exactly why she hadn’t wanted to let him know, she knew he would tell her things she knew, but didn’t want to face. In all, she knew he would make her face the reality that was standing in front of her, literally smack her in the face with it so that she would not be able to walk away from it. She chuckled slightly as he added the little argument remark, as it was their way, she and Ash had this thing, they always argued with one another, arguments bordering on the line of near outright fighting, but neither ever crossed that futile line, as neither would win a battle of that nature, for neither could be harmed.
“Ok… So, once again you are right, but that still doesn’t mean I need to let him know my feelings, but perhaps I could be there more often for him, perhaps talk with him over things he may wish to talk about and the like, maybe even follow him to the field from time to time.. I do miss the battle….” She shook her head. “What am I saying, I sound like a silly little girl, have I totally lost my mind…” She laughed shortly before rolling her eyes. “Indeed, it is as it should be, he lives, I do not, at best, I could befriend him…” She finished, a note of finality in her tone.

Ash just looked at her blankly and blinked a couple times before he sighed deeply as they continued their stroll. She was a stuborn one, never doing what her heart really wanted and one day she would find herself regreting it soroly though she would try to deny that fact even to herself.
"You know, compared to you he is very young. He may not think that someone with as much experience as yourself could posibly be interested in him. He may not realise that he has a chance to be with you. He could be trying as you are to close off his feelings and not let them show. He could be wondering if he should ask you or not and doing as you are now." He paused for several seconds. "Denying himself of a pleasure that he desires greatly. But you will never know. Cause your too damn stuborn[/b]!"

Kiara listened to his words but nearly laughed when he told her that perhaps Cassius would be thinking the same as she. It was inevitable and perhaps very much likely he already loved another, but having his position he did indeed deny his heart, for another love, the love of battle, the love of Karador.
“And just what am I supposed to do about that?” She started. “Who the hell do you think I am? I have no right to intrude on his thoughts anymore than he would mine…” She tightened her grip about her body and pursed her lips together. “Stubborn.. Bah, of course I am, it’s the only way I know, the only way I survived for the time I was living, stubborn is what got me as far as it did and in the end, it was the love for my sister that got me killed.” She spat at him now. “If I was more indifferent, if I was able to stand and watch a loved one destroyed then I would be where Kalista is now… No, love has no place on the battle field.” She sneered and then turned her head to look straightforward.

"Yes, I spose you're right." He softened his tone. "Stuborness has got you to where you are now. So in a way it is good. Have no worries, I will cease my arguments." Ash sighed softly as he shook his head. "Just as well. The gardner has a good chance at having him if you leave him be. At least she can be hapy." He finished speaking and started to hum a little song.
He knew that once she made her mind there was almost nothing he could do. Though he would have rathered won the case without bringing up Kailyn.

"Just as well. The gardener has a good chance at having him if you leave him be. At least she can be happy."
Kiara stopped moving, her arms dropped to her sides and she turned to face Ash who was humming happily along.
”WHAT!” She growled, though the growl was amplified by her echoing ghostly voice as it reverberated loudly about, bouncing off headstone after headstone. The Gargoyles, once playing happily near-by, ducked their heads and froze in their movements as if they had just been scolded.
Kiara once again drew in a needless breath to steady herself, to gather and once again try and maintain some sort of calmness in her posture, though with her fists clenching the way they were, it was quiet obvious that she was having a very hard time at it.
“You mean to tell me that, that.. ELF likes Cassius?” She near growled again, though it came out in more of a whisper than anything else. “Well, then I hope they can be happy together.” She then sneered, her eyes sparking with snakes of lightning, her voice the only thing about her saying she didn’t care.

The Keeper stopped humming and looked at her with a pretend surprised look on his face. Eyebrows raised and chin a bit higher, "What!?! You sound like you don't want him to be happy with someone else." He frowned, "But if you're not going to make a move on him he's fair game me lady. Nothing you can do about that unless you want him to be miserable." He said as he shruged his shoulders.

Kiara was absolutely fuming and his continued words only added fuel to the fire already there, her ghostly form began to gather solidity a she spoke. Her eyes continued to glare at him, the snakes of electricity whirring about as if they were about ready to be unleashed to obliterate the ghostly apparition. Then, her body was completely solid and she drew her sword…
The sound of steel sliding from its resting place rang throughout the graveyard, a singing note that only a warrior could love. Kiara held the hilt in her now perfectly tangible fingers and then with one quickly place arch of her shoulder and wrist, brought the mighty broadsword down and sunk it into the closest thing to her, the chest of a statue depicting an angel that resided over some grave of someone whom she didn’t even know, shattering the piece into a thousand shards of plaster and white marble stone. Then, as she snarled, her form began to waver again and she slowly began to reside back into the harmless ghostly being she was and she returned her sword to its resting place forever at her side and turned away from Ash, the ghostly tear that fell down her cheek being wiped away before he could see.
“If there is another, then she has already won, for who in his right mind would ever choose a dead woman over a warm, tangible soft woman who could offer him so much more…” She said in a whisper. “Oh, and sorry about the mess…” She said and began to move away form him now, in the direction they had just came from.
